Art Smart - June 6-10 (Scottsboro Jr. High) Join us for fun Hawaiian art activities and more! Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00 Open to upcoming 3rd - 6th grades Presented by Sue DeWitt; Cost $65.00 Writing Camp- June 20-24 (Caldwell Elementary) This camp will be an introduction to the elements of poetry, descriptive and narrative writing. Students will learn a craft to integrate into each genre of writing. Students will learn to use a writer's notebook to capture their writings and their reading. Join us in discovering the many birds of Scottsboro. We will focus on the biology, habitats, and migrations of birds in our area. Watching and observing birds is not just scientific, but also involves calculations, location and geography, plus can excite the senses for descriptive writing and acting. Be a part of this summer journey in getting to know our feathered neighbors. Music Camp- July 18-22 (Collins Elementary) Come learn about musical theatre. We will sing, dance and learn skills required to put on a drama. We will create props and backdrops.
