With the increase of social media usage amongst our students, find out how to use Edmodo to encourage positive interaction with your students. We will review the basics of Edmodo, as well as, how to get more student engagement with Plickers. During this class, we will have a make and take session to create your own classroom set of Plickers. Bring your student roster to set up your classroom for the upcoming school year. If time allows, we will also introduce virtual yearbooks.

Google Classroom (Holly Donham) - Easily share your daily lesson with your students - even homebound students, create lessons for student collaboration, and more!  These lessons are viewable by you even before they submit the final product to you.  And the huge, added bonus - you have created a paperless classroom!   Holly used Google Classroom this past year and is willing to share her experience with you.

Google Drive (Tracy Brumley.) – This workshop will explore Google Docs, Drive, Gmail, and Calendar among others. Participants will use these Apps to effectively communicate and collaborate with staff, parents and their students well beyond the classroom. Besides, these apps are free! Google Drive can be used with iPads, iPhones, Android phones, or any other device you have that will connect to the Internet, so bring your device with you!  If you do want to learn about using drive on your device, please go to the App or Google store and download the Google Drive app before you come.
