CDC Operation Guidance for K-12 Schools

The Scottsboro City Schools Child Nutrition Program will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2025-26 school year. Under this provision, all Scottsboro City Schools will provide FREE breakfast and FREE lunch to all enrolled students. Students who choose to purchase á la carte items (water, chips, ice cream, etc.) will need to have money in their student accounts, as these items are not included in the provision. It will not be necessary for families to complete the Free & Reduced-Priced Meals Application for the 2025-26 school year to determine eligibility.
