Health Services Home

Our Mission:
To provide quality health services to all students of Scottsboro City Schools and thereby enhance the educational process.
The School Health Services Program promotes the health and well-being of all students, enabling them to fully participate in learning and achieve the greatest possible benefit from their educational experience. Students with chronic or acute health conditions may face barriers to learning, and these barriers must be identified and addressed to help each student reach their full academic potential.
The School Health Services Program focuses on supporting the physical health and well-being of students by assessing and monitoring their health status, providing health education and counseling to students, parents, and school staff, preventing and controlling communicable diseases, delivering emergency care for illness and injury, promoting safe and healthy school environments, and supporting health education as an essential component of the school curriculum.
