The online registration system (PowerSchool Enrollment) streamlines the process in a user-friendly way that promotes greater efficiency, organization, and records management. The system can be accessed anywhere that supports a digital device with an internet connection.
New Student Enrollment
What is needed for new student enrollment?
A parent/guardian living at the same address as the student must enroll the student and provide the following information:
Proof of Residence-
- A current mortgage or lease agreement with name and address on it, and a current utility bill with name and address on it or a current water bill with name and address on it.
- If you are currently living in someone else’s home, a Residency Affidavit is required.
Birth Certificate
Copy of Guardian ID
Immunization Records
The following is needed if a student attended a school in a previous school district:
Withdrawal Form/Grades
Transcript (high school only)
Records from the previous school, if available

After completing online student enrollment, you may still be required to visit the Board of Education to provide the documents listed above, along with other documents, as needed for the enrollment process. Please contact the Scottsboro City Board of Education directly to inquire about their office hours and how they would accept documents.

You MUST have your student's SnapCode to complete the registration.
- You will have received an email with a direct link with embedded code as well as your SnapCode.
- If you do not have the SnapCode, check your spam folder, or email enrollment@scottsboroschools.net for help.
- Each child will have their own SnapCode.
A couple of items of note that will make this process as smooth as possible:
- You may have to create an account via the link provided if you do not already have an account.
- Be on the lookout for an email from PowerSchool Enrollment Registration sent on Monday 3/23/26
- If your address has changed, please have your proof of residency available for upload (can be uploaded from the photo album on your cell phone). Examples of acceptable documents include: water bill, power bill, gas bill, lease, or mortgage, that are tied to your physical location. A cell phone bill will not be acceptable as it is not necessarily tied to the physical address.
- Complete the online enrollment process as soon as is convenient. This can be done from your phone, tablet, Chromebook, or computer.
We appreciate you working alongside us on this re-enrollment process. We believe that PowerSchool Enrollment will assist us in streamlining the overall process and ensure that we have accurate and reliable information. As previously mentioned, instead of completing a paper packet for each student, once you review and make any necessary updates to the address, email, contact information, etc… for one child, you can simply apply those updates to all students in your household.
