A Message from the Superintendent
I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Superintendent of Scottsboro City Schools. This is a community with deep pride in its schools, and I do not take the responsibility of this role lightly.
My commitment is simple: to keep students at the center of every decision and to work alongside our teachers, staff, families, and community partners to ensure every school is a place where students feel safe, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
I believe strong school systems are built on high-quality instruction, clear expectations, responsible use of resources, and open, honest communication. When those elements are in place, students are better prepared to think critically, solve problems, and succeed beyond the classroom.
I am committed to listening and learning as we move forward—building on what is already working while thoughtfully addressing the work ahead. I look forward to getting to know our students, staff, families, and community, and to serving Scottsboro with integrity, care, and a strong focus on what matters most: our students.
The Scottsboro City community continuously demonstrates a strong commitment to education and high expectations that drive our pursuit of excellence. Go Wildcats!
