We are excited to give our students a warm, Wildcat welcome back to school
tomorrow! Our faculty and staff at each school have worked extremely hard
this summer to prepare for a terrific 2022-2023 school year.
Attached, you will find our Emergency Operations Plan which includes
current COVID protocol. Masking for students and staff is optional. We ask
that families please contact the student’s school nurse if a student is
experiencing symptoms or you need information on absences/excuses related
As always, school safety remains top priority for students, faculty and staff
while on our campuses. Many upgrades to existing safety and security
features are in place, and we ask for your assistance in working with our
school leaders by following the safety procedures. More details on safety
protocols have been or will be provided by each school.
Despite many adversities and challenges faced since the onset of the
pandemic, our students have proven resilience and achievement in
academics, arts, and athletics. Our goal is student success and this will
continue to be accomplished because of a dedicated staff, supportive
parents, and committed community partners.
It is a great day to be a part of the WILDCAT NATION and truly, our best days
are still ahead of us. Whether new to Scottsboro City Schools or returning, we
look forward to welcoming ALL of our students back to school.

Very respectfully,
Amy Childress
